Financial Assistance

We can help your family design a Care Funding Plan that gives your loved ones the ability to receive high quality care at a price that fits within your budget. There are a number of private and public sources of financial assistance available to seniors. We will help you evaluate the numerous options.

Veteran Memorial Service
Veteran Benefit Programs:  The Department of Veterans Affairs offers eligible former service members several programs that can be used to pay for home care. Once such program is Veteran Directed Care in which Veterans hire their own workers to meet their daily needs to help them live at home or in their community.

Private Investments:  Some clients choose to access funds from investment vehicles they have accumulated over time. Options can include annuities, securities (stocks, bonds, mutual funds), life insurance policies, long-term care policies and borrowing (reverse mortgages, home equity lines). We can recommend trusted financial advice teams that can help you evaluate your options and investment drawdown strategies.
Insurance Agent
Medical Insurance: Whether you have public or private medical insurance, there are options within these policies that can be used to cover all or a portion of the cost of care services. One new public program, PACE, provides comprehensive medical and social services to certain elderly people still living in their communities. Most of the participants in PACE are dually eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid.
Green Orchard
State Programs: Home Presence Care can help you review the options that are afforded to you as a citizen of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. There are a number of local programs that can help residents offset the cost of living at home, with both monetary and in-kind grants.
